Making up three way trades is hardzzz - steve362
Good job doing the frame work. Mind u, I believe Columbus will want a young goalie included, either Bernier or Gustavsson. I doubt the Leafs will part with Reimer & no way LA trades Quick. |

An Ottawa game could be just what the doctor ordered for the top line to regain its form.
I find that these games tend to be pretty wide open and fast paced. Ottawa's got a young team with some quick legs. |

Crazy thought: I read that LA is seriously interested in reuniting Jeff Carter & Mike Richards. If this is true, does this mean Kopitar could be available? My proposal is a HUGE HUGE blockbuster 3 way deal: with the main princples being: Carter to LA, Kopitar to Toronto and ???? to Columbus. - GCHonda
So, Philly had a tough time keeping Richards and Carter focused in Philadelphia. And now the Kings think it would be a good idea to reunite their party-hard arses in Los Angeles?
I can't see that happening. Especially since none of Kopitar, Richards, or Carter are 3rd line centres.
If this rumor were true, then it implies Kopitar would be moved. |

Ottawa was very flat last night vs. NYI.
Just like the game before we played them last, they were flat vs. WPG.
This will probably be a 3 point game. |

Quite poopy, indeed.
Washington winning doesn't really bother me as I suspect they'll win the division, anyway.
How "for real" are the Devils this year? Will they start to fall like Ottawa and reveal their true colors? |

Yeah I really can't see LA moving for Carter. They're starting to figure things out after a tough start, and if you look at the west, with LA in 7th and finally, finally starting to roll, I am starting to think there will only be one playoff spot for 5 teams to scrap for down the stretch.
One thing I could see LA doing is making a move for Nash.
Bernier
Penner

2nd
Hickey
But that's pure speculatgion on my part, they don't need help down the middle...which, y'know, must be nice to have |

I don't think the Devils will necessarily fall apart, they're a veteran team that, depsite having an aging goalie that will hurt down the stretch, they have enough raw talent to keep things moving. As long as the chance to make the dance is there Parise goes nowhere.
That insane run they went on last year was no fluke, they can run and gun |

Lol, we can only hope. But yea, Florida and Washington are in their own race. Neither is likely to be going for a 6,7,8 spot. It's 3 or nothing for those guys. |

Ive got a bad feeling about this game, Spezza has the flu and we have no offense without him. I could also see Kessel ripping us apart. My prediction 4-1 toronto win. Ottawa is setting back to reality and I think we will be out of the playoffs by the deadline.
Hopefully Im wrong tho. |

You've also got to wonder about burn-out and injury with Marty. He's not a spry, young 35 year old anymore. |

If you guys have bad feeling, then we are sure to blow it. Don't worry.
The fact that Spezza might not be playing just makes us more complacent and unmotivated. |
