You may be right it doesn't hurt the team but it certainly hurts fans who would like to see a game but can't because of grossly overpriced tickets. No revenue sharing, tickets wouldnt be so overpriced.

I disagree totally. Prices here go up every season. I think it's geographical. Certainly you pay more for amenities in places like NY or California simply because it's more expensive to live there. Take solace in your free healthcare and enjoy the hockey!!!

I am happy that larger markets like Toronto and Detroit help smaller teams like ours. It doesn't hurt your team at all. Not like you guys are going anywhere if you don't help other teams.

The whole Gary-Bettman-American-expansion project has been a failure. Even a salary cap tied to revenue could not fix that dog.

I can't even imagine what playoff ticket prices would be like for Toronto... I bet you can't remember either..

Got news for you, before revenue sharing Leafs fans were already complaining about the exact same thing...that the average Joe can't afford to go see a game.

I am a hockey fan.. I'm a die hard Panthers fan but I don't bash other teams. Hell, if we don't make the playoffs, I'll be rooting for Washington, Ottawa.. I'm not heartless and I do not insult other teams or their fans.

Hockey for them is probably like the indoor soccer league for us....it just doesn't register.

They just aren't into it. According to my customers in the US....Hockey is just too expensive for a fringe sport. How do you get someone to spend $150 on a ticket to a sport that they don't give a poop about...
