Gomez grabbed him by his collar and beaked at him a bit, but no one fought him.
Even if Gomez started throwing, Chara wouldn't have fought back. It's one of those situations where best case scenario, you look like a giant bumhole, worst case, Gomez hurts you.

We will see what the next couple of years brings. We don't know. He could have a break out year.. Tyler Seguin sucked last year and was a healthy scratch probably 40 games.. and now this year.. he has 43 points and the best +/- in the NHL.

Leino played on a top line with Briere and Hartnell... for most of those points. He moved to Buf and suxs.

JVR has done similar number on a lower line, without the same type of talent, without consistent linemates, etc...

Most relize that we've seen Leino ceiling, but have not JVR. Don't forget... Leino is 28 and JVR is 22... Let's compare numbers when JVR is 28.

Philly needs a established work horse of a defensman. Schenn will get there....but not for another 5 years.

A team that would want Schenn would be in a rebuild mode....ie Columbus, Ducks, etc...

Leaf fans have so far over-rated Schenn. He's big and physical, but has slow feet and gets beat to the outside often.
He won't be a shutdown guy unless he works on his skating and closing the gap. While I would love to see him develop into an Adam Foote, presently he reminds me more of a Hal Gill.
