Absolutely
Judging by his logic and reactions, I think he's likely 12. - clarkysduster

If he has a comeback year and puts up 50ish points the sabres could trade him next year.
It's always possible.
The only unmoveable contract out there is Gomez as he will never be able to produce enough to be worth it - HuileHab
I think its very possible he has a better season next year. |

If that in fact was what you meant, in the "congrats" (which I don't believe) then I will extend an apology for mis-reading it.
I, for one, am not sure whether I think this team will make the playoffs, and to be honest I don't really care. If they miss, great, hopefully it means they fire Wilson. If they make it, great, I get to watch 4 playoff games for the first time in 7 years or whatever it is, I lost count. - Juice

If I wanted to completely troll.....
games played by Toronto per month:
Jan - 12
Dec - 13
Nov - 14
Oct - 11
Total of 50 Games
12 games in January accounts for 24% of their season's games played Scruffton.

I doubt it would happen before there is more clarity on the concussion, but I would easily trade JVR for Schenn + 2nd. Schenn is a young stay at home d-man who is physical. Thats exactly what the Flyers need to shore up their D and become tougher to play against in the home stretch.
I think both players are great assets. I think JVR has the potential to be a 40 goal scorer who can take over a game and Schenn has the potential to be a good top pairing shutdown guy. - flyav
well said from leaf fan to flyers fan my trade would be schenn and a 2nd for jvr and a 4th |

In a small way I kinda feel sorry for him. In the event he does score on home ice, he'll either get the biggest sarcastic standing ovation ever or the bass frequencies from the boo's will crush his chest and put him on IR. - MunsterMike
Seriously, I don't even hate Gomez. He was the only Habs player to get in Chara's face after the Patches hit and I respect him for it. It's just too bad a player can get crushed by his own contract. |

So did anyone on Montreal fight Chara after that Patricotty hit or did they just shy away like the sabres did with Lucic trucked Miller? |

If philly really want Schenn they will definitely gonna have to overpay to get him. - akGCO47
Why would they really want him? Beside the brother thing...
Philly is doing well with current roster.
Philly is in the market for a stay at home defense-man (easier to find than a puck moving defense-man, which we have plenty).
Schenn is good and could be very good in the long run. But, not exactly a wealth of experience - which is needed in the playoffs.
With the deadline approaching, there should be a few better opportunities on the market that they won't have to overpay...

Difference is Leino was signed to a ridiculous contract.... - B-Leaf
Funniest part about it is hes more untradeable than Komisarek... Now thats embarrassing.. I mean no one is in Scott Gomez territory but good on Leino for trying |
