Again, avoiding the actual point at hand.

congratulations.

I actually LIKE the Buffalo fanbase in General, but this guy's an idiot. He's somehow managing to drag down my opinion of an entire fanbase all on his own. In an annoying sort of way, one might consider it semi-impressive.

*facepalm*
You seriously don't understand what a trend is, do you?

A statistical trend would be our recent play comparative to our recent past; i.e. our current statistical trend (over 12 games) compared to our recent past (51 total games of the season). Why would we factor in the 31 games that have yet to even be played into the equation? They have nothing to do with the current trend?

Leino was a bad signing... they missed out on Brad Richards so they threw out desperate money to a project player... I hate Leino and would trade him for a role of stick tape..

Connolly was signed because they actually believed he was "the 2nd best Center on the market" when they lost out on Richards.. 4.5 Million for someone that is proven to be fragile compared to 4 million for someone that has shown potential but still completely unproven..

- MillerTime1130

Pegula wanted to show the fan base that he was seriously going to financially support this team. Leino was a PR move, when they realized money couldn't buy Richards.

Connolly was similar but less so. He was insurance in case Bozak and Grabo failed this year. Burke did not have total confidence in both and needed to ensure a playoff spot, or atleast a fight for one.

Both moves were overpayments.

yea it was actually just me pointing out that Scruffton who was saying I have no mathematical or analytic skills was an idiot because he said that 25% of an NHL season takes place in January..
- MillerTime1130

That's fine. But you still have yet to actually acknowledge any valid point.

Rather then you saying "Yup, going 100% on the PK is a definite turnaround" your reply was a sarcastic and very typical anti-leafs fan comment of "the Sabres are 2-0-1 in their last three so they've turned things around..."

Just saying, you're clearly here to troll and not actually talk hockey.

Of course maybe is a possibility, but likelihood is a whole other issue.

I still don't get Gomez...what happened to that guy... isn't his one year anniversary of the last time he score a goal this week?

Um, I believe you said there is a 25% chance he will be a Sabre next year...

life fail.

- clarkysduster

What????? How in any way does that say that I support his contract and hope that he is a Sabre?? I just simply said that I think that is the likelihood of him playing for Buffalo until the end of next season.

"Life Fail" stop talking

I said January makes up 25% of the current games played this season, you dolt.

So far you fail at math, and you fail at reading comprehension.

Sorry man, I usually don't fall for the bait but I took it hook, line, and sinker today.

I feel bad for the Sabres this year, they had high expectations going into the season and have not had a good go of it. I would rather see all of the teams in our division be competitive and make the playoffs, that would make for some wicked hockey.

I see my analogy was lost... I was imply saying that congrats on Toronto having a 100% PK unit in January if that is indeed the case.. but that doesn't not mean that it will be sustained.. just like how Buffalo being undefeated in regulation time in their last 3 games will not be sustained either..

I really hope he's either:
1) Trolling or
2) 12 years old

Because anything outside of the above mentioned scenarios means I have to feel pity for him, and I hate it when I'm forced to pity idiots.

If that in fact was what you meant, in the "congrats" (which I don't believe) then I will extend an apology for mis-reading it.

I, for one, am not sure whether I think this team will make the playoffs, and to be honest I don't really care. If they miss, great, hopefully it means they fire Wilson. If they make it, great, I get to watch 4 playoff games for the first time in 7 years or whatever it is, I lost count.

He was never really a goal scorer but ya it is.

In a small way I kinda feel sorry for him. In the event he does score on home ice, he'll either get the biggest sarcastic standing ovation ever or the bass frequencies from the boo's will crush his chest and put him on IR.

Absolutely

Judging by his logic and reactions, I think he's likely 12.

Your analogy was not lost, it was just very poor. You took a statistically insignificant stat and compared it to a stat of significance...

That's what the Kostitsyns', Carey Price, and Hamrlik say when they hit the town.
