but when you have just as many goals as kulemin playing 1/3 of the amount of games with 2/3 the ice time kule gets per game. That's gotta be a kick in the ol nuts to get sent down again.

When he missed on that open net, when had a few seconds to stop wait and shot the puck hardm, then he took that penalty, I knew they would tie the game. Lombo is just a skater.

Late in the game Connolly was just getting destroyed chasing Sullivan in defensive zone. The guy looked like me out there - out of shape and slow. It was just brutal.

not even close.

Gustavsson might not be technically 'young' but he is inexperienced and is still prone to having gaffs. They have been fewer and farther between lately as he has been gaining experience and confidence.
As for Grabovski, he tried to get the line, as he was going for the dump his stick was checked from behind..
Some of the d were overplayed and tired, which leads to mistakes...again it's becasue they lack experience on the blue line and they overplay phaneuf.

I understand, you are so used to whining and picking apart their game, but after 45 minutes of their most dominating game, their are a helluva lot of positives that can be mentioned.

I think they can split it. If Bozak lagged to play that puck he probably would have gotten rocked into next week - it was a bit of a suicide and the D was right there.

But Kessel (maybe it was Lupul) was right there too, so ya, if Bozie does play that puck and give it the extra chip Kessel is gone all alone...

Yeah Bozie didn't keep it stick on the ice. It was the obvious pass. Gusti should have grabbed that though.

NHL wants to roll back revenue split from 57% to something closer to 50.

Sounds like we could see a 2-4 Million dollar drop on the cap because of it.

We're gonna be missing some hockey next year, I think.

The NHLPA is ready for a fight. The owners are insane if they think they'll get their uncontested way again this time. They screwed it up last time when they had the the union over a barrel.

If the NHL is forced to cancel another season, what does that do to the half-dozen markets who are already getting beat up by the recession?

This one could get ugly. Especially with a guy like Fehr in charge.
