Grabovski + whatever assets we don't have to give up to get Carter > Carter.

I'm pretty sure even if Seguin doesn't register another point this season he will still very likely win the Hart Trophy.
He will be a shoe-in for the Conn Smythe even if Boston gets eliminated in the second round.
I heard there is talks of him also replacing Gary Bettman at some point.

Oh yeah, he is on pace for a Stanley Cup in every season he plays so he should end up with maybe 20.
Early talk is that it will be renamed The Seguin Cup.

and when he wins his 18th cup ring it will be in the finals against the leafs (they finally get back) only to lose to Seguin who is the playoff MVP and scores the game winner in triple OT |

One last shot,
once it is renamed The Seguin Cup, word has it that Kessel is the hands down favorite to be the new Keeper of the Cup and follow it where ever it goes.

No you have that wrong, He will become Seguins jock holder, hence the "keeper of the Cup"

All the worse on JFJ for handing NTCs out like candy on Halloween.
But why do Leafs fans feel entitled to begrudge them for not voluntarily waiving an important clause negotiated into a contract?
These players work NTCs into their deals for various reasons; some players value stability in their personal and professional lives more than others evidently. It really isn't much good if they are obligated to waive it, is it? |

If I have a contractual right to stay at my current job, but my employer and "Fans" want me gone, I might look to get out of town

plus they took less money for that NTC....a home town discount.
I loved those teams...Domi, Manson , Corson, Tucker, Roberts, Belak, Perrott...
All on one team......now that's tough.... |

And ultimately they ended up leaving the organization anyways.
Seems like nobody wants to come to TOR but once they are here they don't want to leave.

I've turned off my playoff switch. Now I just want them to lose and get the best pick possible. I think last night was the final straw for me. And I'm also going to start cheering for the Rangers, they've always been my real favourite team. |
