They should do half points. 2 Regulation win, 1.5 OT win, 1 for SO win, .5 for a loss in OT or SO, nothing for loss in Regulation.

Play 4 on 4 to allow more open ice and scoring ... not to mention alleviate the problem that the players are too big and too fast now for an ice surface that has not changed (and won't change see: cheap owners)

The truth is, the NHL LOVES this system it keeps more teams in the playoff picture for longer.

No. to get a ring you have to play 1 game in the finals or play 41 regular season games...unless there's an exception in terms of a specific player like Crosby or something
