Unreal. You would be amazed to hear some of the excuses from drivers why they are speeding or driving recklessly.
- PLindbergh31

I was going a few weeks ago.

About 20 over the limit. Nobody around except a car quite a distance in front of me. Out of nowhere I see sirens come on. Im like ohh (frank).

The guy pulled on the street and pulled over the car in front of me which I would have blown by in 30 seconds.

The jiblets were in my mouth. Was so scared.

I only speed when nobody is around or in an empty lane. Dont weave in traffic. Hate people that do that. A girl flew off a bridge here last week and died. Need to drive slower in the ice months. October - April.

That's short term solutions. Someone like Suter is long term.

Im asking for real.

Is Suter #1 d-man material? Lets say after Kimmo retires.

I'm starting to worry Suter will be paid like an elite #1 but not be able to carry the first pairing.

He's not a # 1 like a Chara, Lidstrom, Weber or guys of that ilk, but he would be the # 1 on probably 2/3 of the teams in the NHL.

I see him more as a 1A. I don't personally feel he is as good defensively as Timonen is. Some do. He's not anywhere near the class of a Pronger, Chara, or Weber. But he can play in all situations and play 25 minutes a game. He will definitely be paid like a #1

Nothing wrong with short term at the right price. Suter wouldn't be on my radar unless Timonen's money came off the cap or if Weber was completely unobtainable.

Hopefully the coolness of these pads invite more pucks to hit them, instead of hitting the back of the net.

Not a fan of Souray. He doesnt do anything for me and just makes the Flyers older on the blueline. I guess he would be an upgrade though.
- stveshdy

What's wrong with being a little old on the blue line? Coburn, Carle, Meszaros, Burdon and Gus I consider to be all young.

He needs to stop worrying about his pads and just play. Dont think. Easier said than done. Is this his 3rd set this season?

I agree, nothing is wrong with short term at the right price. I think the Flyers can fit Suter.

4 games in 6 days against teams the Flyers are 2-6-1 against this year. Playing with a shorthanded lineup. Nashville, and the NYR will be very tough games to win.

Souray does nothing for me. I dont think he is that good or worth trading for imo.

Suter is starting to give me a J-Bow feel.

Not sure why.

Nah. I think Suter can be a legit # 1 guy on a team. I think he's somewhat underrated because he plays on a team with Weber.

Weber is an RFA and Suter is a UFA who is likely to walk. Suter is all but unobtainable, realistically.

I'm extremely confident the Flyers will hold the Jets under the 7 goals per game average tomorrow night.

Lets say, Bryz keeps going at an inconsistent pace.

Do you continue to roll out Bobrovsky after bad games?

They have to pick one guy sooner rather than later.

I never liked Bouwmeester. Suter is not Bouwmeester redoux. Just keep in mind what he is. He's a better Carle. You like physical, tough Hockey. Suter isn't physical.
