Here is a cold hard fact.......

Pierre Gauthier was in Southern California this past weekend. He took in two games at Honda Center and one game at Staples Center. If he is still in town I would not be surprised to see him at Staples Center tonight for the Kings vs. Senators.

Now here is an opinion.......

Pierre Gauthier is an idiot, and probably one of the two or three worst General Managers in the NHL. If Dean Lombardi and/or Bob Murray have a chance to skin this guy alive in a deal they should do it. Gauthier ruins everything he touches so more power to the Kings and the Ducks if they can add to his "legacy".

Now having said that, if they aren't interested in cutting a deal with Montreal then they should make sure that clown gets to the airport as soon as possible. The sooner he's out of Southern California the better.

Bernier/Penner to T,O for Reimer/Kulemin and MacArthur

not only that, but downie and doughty hate each other. we couldnt afford stamkos, kopitar, doughty and quicks new contract... after this season, quick will get a deserved raise on his next contract. and why would we trade both JJ and VV? i wouldnt mind one or the other, preferably JMFJ before VV, but not both!

Are u serious? LA would make that deal in a hertbeat You're concerned about losing JJ and VV when you're getting Stamkos in return? I agree his trade proposal is ludicrous but not for your reasons, infact for the opposite.

Yes, I agree, Kulemin is having a brutal year but I don't want to see the Leafs trade him.

Reimer/MacArthur for Bernier/Penner is interesting. Penner is a huge fail. MacArthur is a slightly smaller fail. Bernier probably has more value than Reimer.
