I think Rask is going to start stealing games from him. He's completely outplayed him all year. But no doubt Thomas will start Sunday based on his track record in Philly.

not what bob mckenzie said, and i'd take his word over this incarcerated bob fellow.
- hammarby31

Also not what Dreger said. I'm not going to worry about it. We've discussed it ad nauseam all week long. No sense in getting further stoked up by something that might not even happen.

Could be the same person. Both named Bob. Maybe it's Bobby Mac's alt?

If it was something new, fine...but right now...we all know where we stand. Just make a good deal Homer.

Bob M just did a 3 minute segment on the Sabres, in a nutshell he said they have a ton of overpaid guys who aren't producing that no one wants. He basically said they are (frank)ed.

rask was awesome against the panthers last night. i still think thomas gets the nod simply because he's never lost in philly, and rask has the baggage of the '10 playoffs.

They are...Who can they move? Miller? Vanek and Roy are streaky, Leino has been a disaster and others aren't producing.

People talked a lot of poop about the Bryz contract but I think the Leino signing was worse for Buffalo

Those were the 3 names he mentioned that would have value. He said Leino and Boyes have been dreadful.

No doubt the Leafs and Sabres will miss the playoffs.

No question. Rask is really good. It's sickening that they already have Thomas' successor.

Bryz certainly has the better track record and has shown an ability to bounce back from subpar seasons.

Somebody threw up numbers pre 24-7 and post 24-7 and the split was nasty. Prior to the first episode, he was at 2.74 with a save percentage over .900. Not great, but still better than what he's carrying now.

Maybe all the cameras threw him off his stride. Who knows? I enjoyed the show, but I'm glad it's over...now they can all focus on hockey.

I forgot Boyes. He's fallen off the face of the Earth.

Even with some guys having value, they're still looking at 50 cents on the dollar if they move them.

Of course. Boston has built a powerhouse based off Toronto's ineptitude. This will be 8 straight years for the Leafs out of the playoffs. That's absolutely pathetic.

Yep. He's said the best they can hope for is to get some prospects, picks, and cap space and rebuild it from the ground up.

I got a good feeling about him down the stretch.
