Honest question, if the cost for Bobby Ryan is AA, Miller and a 1st rounder, you wouldn't make that trade? - Pete V
i would. how about something like aa, sauer , a 1st and a lesser prospect? they need help defensively. not sure sauer value cause of his concussion and injury history |

I would do it. And I would probably do it even if you substituted Kreider for Miller. - jimbro83
The prospect of having Kreider, Gaborik and Hagelin in the same line up intrigues me. Del Zotto would have fun throwing homerun passes out of the defensive zone. |

No need to apologize. I think you're crazy, but no need to apologize.
And just so were clear. I really like Miller. Tough, hardworking kid that would fit right into the mold of these Rangers. With that said, I think he is a souped up Brandon Dubinsky, at best, which is certaintly not a bad thing. I just don't think were talking about Superstar type player.
I agree with you on Kreider, although if the cost for Bobby Ryan was Chris Kreider and some other small asset, I would probably do that as well. - Pete V
The thing I love about Miller is that he has the grit/hardworking game like Cally/Dubi but he has better skill. I keep reading about his great vision and his ability to finish in front of the net. Gets me pumped thinking of that type of player on the Rangers
Edit: But knowing my luck he will turn out to be a marginal 3rd liner and I will always regret we never traded him for Ryan |

But hes not gonna be playing top 6 unless we move someone AND he accepts a role on the wing. Hes not gonna play ahead of Richards or Stepan obviously. |

Someone still has to convince me Krieder is going to sign with the Rangers. I would hate to pass up a possible trade, and then he doesn't sign. I don't know why but I have this nagging feeling he wants to play in Boston. |

Indeed. You bring up a good point. Someone would have to be the odd man out. But I think Miller is still 2 years away so maybe that will play out between now and then |

We wouldn't crucify you. We would duct tape you, put you backwards on a donkey, and throw rotten tomatos at you on your way to banishment to the Florida Panthers blog. |

By far, and if we dont make a trade, I will look forward to, whole-heartedly, the hope that Miller makes the team and that he takes Boyles spot on the 3rd line. |

He is a bit of a frustrating player. His line has been good. They work hard. Alot of good shifts, and time in the offensive zone. But there is never a payoff. It's like good foreplay without the .... |

Calgary is also a crap team. Why would any prospect give up a chance to play for a top team, needing a scorer, in the greatest city ever, in the worlds most famous arena. |
