But, when you're the backup goalie and you enter a game down 2-0 in the first, no matter what the team or the situation, you know you need to come in and shut the door and give the team a chance. So, for Hedberg to allow 2 more in the first and 4 more overall is just unacceptable. And Brodeur should be held to the same standard if he relieves Hedberg in the same situation.

Both goalies have been slumping for a few weeks, and as a result, the team really isn't playing well.

Hopefully the next time the situation presents itself DeBoer switches things up and leaves the starter in (whoever it is) to challenge them a little bit.

Stopped watching after the 1st. But what the hell? 38-14 shots. And we allow 6 goals? Goaltending sucked in the first from what I saw.

I agree, save percentage fail!!, but when you have to pull your goalie so early (again) it shows even the coaches don't have faith in our goaltending. We got exploited last night in our weakest area (goaltending). Also, I wish Zubrus would use his frame for once and hit a guy or at least finish a check once and a while.

I agree, save percentage fail!!, but when you have to pull your goalie so early (again) it shows even the coaches don't have faith in our goaltending.
