I figured now that everyone's lost a step, Marsh would be more effective...

Howe has looked really good. He's still in good shape at 56. He hasn't skated but once in the last 5 years he said. I guess it truly is like riding a bike for guys at this level.

It sure seems it. Just looking at how he's handled the puck, his hands look as good as ever

I was impressed with Bernie. Guy hasn't played in over 30 years. Ron Duguay's looked good, too

It was great seeing him in uniform. Especially for folks who never got to appreciate how good he was in the 70's. He did it for the fans, by all accounts he's the best guy in the world.

Duguay looks like he's about 35. Unreal that guy has found the fountain of youth

I wonder if it registered on the seismograph when Therien just fell. My wine rack shook some.

If only Hexy could have been in there at the end teeing off at the empty net.

Seeing the receptions for The Big E and Parent from the crowd nearly brought tears to my eyes.

What a special event. Incredible atmosphere.

what a great day! My highlights.......Bernie Bernie bernie! watching him throwing his body to stop a shot. Classy move by Duguay to lob that first shot into Bernie's pads. Kindrachuck coming out with the long hair and stache of the 70's. Lindros! was so amazing to see the big E and to hear the standing O for him. What about Brad Marsh laying out to block a shot. Howe scoring on the penalty shot. and 45,000 plus fans. there weren't nearly that many fans in Pittsburgh last year.

If I were in the stands rather than the pressbox today, I'd have probably worn a Lindros jersey. The Mark Howe jersey I got in 1985 no longer fits but still hangs in the coat closet I devote to my collection of jerseys.
