Josh I will tell you a secret: I also love to cook and oddly enough I enjoy cooking meat the most even though I do not enjoy eating it that much. The only thing I loathe is the smell of ground beef.

It may be why I unfairly lashed out. I apologize.

Conflict resolution is much easier when we are not puppeteered by one who carries the devil between her legs.

I fully understand and it is why I did not get angry. I once fell for the devil also and learned to cook tofu dishes to taste the sweet nectar nestled in between the supple thighs of a 24 year old woman. Many a man will do a terrible thing for the jamy jelly, my friend.

my ex-gf is a very sweet girl, she just wanted to move back to Seattle and I didn't. But, she had the devil between her legs, as do all women who aren't men like Chaz Bono.

Read it in some Russian book, I think it may have been the brothers karamazov where someone describes women as carrying the devil between their legs because the desire for what is there lead one to commit murder!!

I think it was another book.

‘TIME to put off the world and go somewhere
And find my health again in the sea air,’
Beggar to beggar cried, being frenzy-struck,
‘And make my soul before my pate is bare.’

‘And get a comfortable wife and house
To rid me of the devil in my shoes,’
Beggar to beggar cried, being frenzy-struck,
‘And the worse devil that is between my thighs.’

‘And though I’d marry with a comely lass,
She need not be too comely—let it pass,’
Beggar to beggar cried, being frenzy-struck,
‘But there’s a devil in a looking-glass.’

‘Nor should she be too rich, because the rich
Are driven by wealth as beggars by the itch,’
Beggar to beggar cried, being frenzy-struck,
‘And cannot have a humorous happy speech.’

‘And there I’ll grow respected at my ease,
And hear amid the garden’s nightly peace,’
Beggar to beggar cried, being frenzy-struck,
‘The wind-blown clamour of the barnacle-geese.’

Meatzilla is not for everyone and I understand completely.

Meatloaf is very popular in PA since a lot of Germanic people settled there. I believe every family in PA has a recipe for meatloaf in some form. It is one of those dishes I remember my mom making as a young desi and I just altered her recipe and Alton Brown's recipe for a creation of my own. I enjoy it very much.

I take no offense, but urge you to try some if you ever find yourself in the central PA area at a mom and pop type diner.

I don't get people who would order that in a restaurant... just seems like a recipe that should only be made at home.

meat sauce is for (frank)os.

can't say i've ever ordered meatloaf out, but it can be a popular pub dish, like shepherd's pie, etc...

there are few things better in the culinary world than a chunk of pork, slow cooked in a pot of sauce, until it becomes fork-tender

my mom's meatloaf is incredible.

pls, no allusion to my mom's (alleged) meat or loaf as separate entities. let's keep this meatloaf discussion on topic.
