yes I do!! I may not be here if that didn't happen. My father was a corvette on convoy duty in the North Atlantic. After VE day he volunteered for the Pacific campaign and invasion of mainland Japan. Nukes dropped, war ended and I am here.

I am for sure! I have a pennant from his ship and picture of it here. My 2 uncles served as well. One on self propelled artillery fought in Holland and into Germany and other uncle as air support in England. My great uncle was killed in Ypres in Belgium in 1st German gas attack in World War 1 and my Grandfather was in the Calvary. I have his sword.
