I never claimed that I was here to debate with you.
I think my first post in this thread is pretty clear about my intentions. I asked you to shut the (frank) up, plain and simple! - Pecafan Fan

No, that was said with sarcassam. He won again because of stupidity. Here we are how far into his re-election and can you honestly say you are happy with whats happened? If so you can't be paying taxes unless you enjoy giving money to the government? What happened to taxing the rich to give to the poor? Did that BS stop after he got elected again? I know my leftist friends are all burying their heads in the sand but you're going to tell me you are happy? If so, please explain why?
There is nothing quite like a $70 billion debt auction settlement at the last day of a month to bring total US debt to a record $15.692 trillion, which happens to be just $600 billion shy of the $16.394 trillion debt ceiling. (and no, contrary to simple economic textbook lesson, this does not mean that the private sector just got another $70 billion in debt capacity courtesy of taxpayers, as explained here). And now that we know what Q1 GDP was at the end of Q1, or namely $15.462 trillion, it is simply math to divine that today alone total US/debt to GDP rose by 50 bps to a mindboggling 101.5%.
Below is a chart of two lines with different slopes. We leave it up to readers to figure out which line is GDP and which is total debt.
Edit: wait a minute, the war in Irak to find weapons of mass destruction that didn't even exist? The war that Bush got the US into?
Yeah, as i said, things got completely out of hand under GWB... - Pecafan Fan
Wow you bought that WMD story the Left Wing Progressive Media spoon fed you.
Back in 1989 Iraq invaded Kuwait, the small gulf nation to the south. The world condemned this and the UN Security Council passed resolution 678 that allowed the use of force, starting the Gulf War.
The end of the war in 1991 resulted in a cease-fire and another resolution, 687.
687 stated that Iraq must let UN weapons inspectors roam freely throughout the country to ensure no weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) were developed.
If such conditions were not met, the cease-fire would be broken and the rules of resolution 678, allowing the use of force, would be reinstated.
During the next 10 years, the Iraqi government behaved erratically with the inspectors, sometimes allowing them free reign, sometimes expelling them.
Frustrated with such behaviour, and after 13 more resolutions reaffirming the inspections, the UN Security Council passed the famous resolution 1441 in 2002.
This stated that the weapons inspectors be allowed complete free reign to ensure disarmament, and that Iraq will face “serious consequences” if it fails to do this.
It was seen as a last chance. However all members of the UN knew that this was not Security Council consent for war if Iraq didn’t comply. Even the US’s ambassador to the UN, John Negroponte, stated this on the day of the vote.
Nevertheless, on March 20th 2003 President Bush launched war on Iraq without a new resolution.
The reasoning was not that they thought there were WMDs, but that the weapons inspectors were not allowed free access. Therefore this broke the terms of resolution 687 and cease-fire from 1991, and thereby resurrected resolution 678 which allowed the use of force for the 1990 Gulf War.
Do some research before you parrot the Left Wing Progressive Media

dude, what are you even talking about? - kicksave856
Do you need it spelled out for you? First off, I can care less if you take me seriously. I'm on hockeybuzz. It's a (frank)ing joke to begin with. I'm commenting on a thread called the Barak Obama appreciation thread. Very few people could take this thread seriously just because of the name forget about whats happened the last few days. If you are an American tax payer and still support this guy it's not even worth debating with you. Then you make a comment about how nobody takes me seriously because of stupid sh!t I say. If you have a job and pay taxes take a look at your next check. Then think about what you said in response to my post.
if you don't understand what my point was there, good luck in life. - kicksave856
Thanks pal. I'm good. Have a great career and life. Thanks for wishing me luck none the less . Go on making ridiculous comments that don't pertain to anything and insulting, I wish you good luck as well. Sounds as if you may need it more than me

you were much more level headed last time you said something stupid.
i don't actually give a poop how any of you feel about politics. i simply pointed out that your point is invalidated when you make a comment as stupid as "most of obama's backers don't have a job" or whatever you said.

also, why do you have to respond to each post twice?
gather your thoughts and just post your response.
also, it's telling that my pointing out how ignorant your "most of obama's backers are unemployed" comment was is insulting, but you making that comment apparently isn't.
You don't have to tell me. Most of the people that voted for him have no idea what they voted for. Most of these people that voted for their free benefits actually get health care now for pre-existing conditions but never pay their bills. The thing is they still get health care. CHS and any hospital is not going to refuse care, in other words they won't let them die out on the street. Now with Obamacare these people with pre-existing conditions may not be eligible for care for their said conditions because that same goverment they voted in will deem their disease or ailment not treatable or "not worth treatment" due to cost and effect of treatment. I have two friends that voted for their free benefits both of which will be refused treatment under Obamacare once it starts. Try to tell them that.
