the reptilian thing had zero to do with any conservative/liberal bs at all man.
its just funny
i assure you, no one was "posting Jesse Ventura and using it as a reference/label for people with conservative views" - Crimsoninja
I hear you but there were a few posts after the intial one that lead me to believe otherwise. I understood it was a joke from the get go but the content of the jokes following were deragatory towards conservative ideology. You can't throw jabs out and expect zero response especially when talking politics it's just unrealistic. It's irrelevant anyway there is obviously no point in getting defensive about anything on here. It was funny none the less |

Op-Ed: Pravda, former Soviet Communist paper, says Obama is 'Communist'
The famed Russian news site “Pravda,” which ironically was formed as the official Communist publication of the former Soviet Union, recently released a scathing opinion column entitled, “Obama’s Soviet Mistake,” in which the author unabashedly labels the U.S. president a “Communist without question promoting the Communist Manifesto without calling it so.”
The author, Xavier Lerma, goes on to note how Obama’s “cult of personality” has mesmerized the ignorant in America, who will follow the hope and change icon in much the same way as ”fools” still praise Lenin and Stalin in Russia.
“Obama’s fools and Stalin’s fools share the same drink of illusion.”

You avoided the topic, once you were proven wrong.
You never acknowledged you were mistaken, as we all are sometimes.
As for my disappearance, I explained earlier that I was away in Myrtle Beach for 9 days. - Doppleganger
I wasn't wrong, and explained it. Keep ignoring that though. |

No you were TOTALY 100% wrong.
You claimed that Obama was lowering the deficit much faster than GWB did.
But CLEARLY the numbers of GWB's last four years showed he ended up with a total deficit of -1,186,781.
Obama's total deficit for his FIRST year only was -1,412,688, that one year alone was higher than GWB's last four years total.
Bush's last four years
2005 -318,346
2006 -248,181
2007 -160,701
2008 -458,553
total..............................................-1,186,781
Obama's last four years
2009 -1,412,688
2010 -1,293,489
2011 -1,299,595
2012 -1,326,948
total............................................-5,332,720
Obama..................Bush
(-5,332,720) - (-1,186,781) = -4,145,939 higher than Bush |

So much denial dopps, so much denial.
Your boy lost, and for good reason. The state of the republican party is just so pathetic right now, the country would have probably just imploded. |

One left wing progressive union activist, digs up something from when Rob was a councillor, makes a complaint and takes down the now mayor, elected by 47% of torontonians, gets ousted.
Meanwhile a left wing progressive liberal Premier, who has bilked taxpayers out of BILLIONS of tax dollars, is still the darling of the LWP Media.

Probably the dumbest thing to kick him out of office for, seeing as it's one of the few things he did to actually help people, but this is a case of "ends justify the means". The idiot had to go. |

No wonder they wanted to get rid of him.
Here's a list of what Ford accomplished in 2011:
Stopped out-of-control spending growth at City Hall
2011: 0% Property Tax increase
Changed the trend line - 2012 gross operating budget will be lower than 2011!
Found $355 Million in permanent savings
Almost eliminated Structural Deficit by reducing reliance on 1-time surplus funds
More public consultation in 2011/2012 budget process than ever before
Accelerated Budget process to bring more control to our spending.
Eliminated the Personal Vehicle Tax (PVT)
Put $64 Million back into the pockets of taxpayers.
Forced Council to address its crumbling fiscal foundation.
Reduced Council Budgets
Leading by Example!
Froze Mayor's & Councillors' salaries.
Reduced Mayor's Budget by $700,000 and Councillor Expense budgets to save $900,000.
Reduced travel and non-essential expenses (catering) for Council.
Contracted out Garbage Collection
Contracted out curb-side garbage pick-up west of Yonge St.
Will save $11.5 Million per year for seven years.
Will avoid future public sector garbage strikes in west Toronto.
Made TTC an Essential Service
TTC is essential to our economy.
Riders now protected from transit strikes like the one crippling York Region.
Renewed public faith in TCHC
Replaced a board of directors that had lost public confidence.
Replaced senior management.
Developed a plan to address $650 Million backlog in repairs (Selling 22 expensive, run-down scattered housing units will generate funds to repair 450 units, sold non-core laundry company to generate $4.5 Million for repairs)
Introduced changes in purchasing that saved $3.5 Million in just three months (e.g. TCHC was buying batteries for $3.50 from a hardware store, now buy through city shared purchasing program for just $0.95!!)
Made Subways the Backbone of Rapid Transit in Toronto
Negotiated an MOU for Sheppard Subway with province.
Construction started on fully-underground Eglinton line - extended to Scarborough Town Ctr.
Construction underway on York University - Spadina line extension.
Adopted Whistleblower Protection
1st Bylaw protection for city staff who report fraud, waste or mismanagement
Made Council more Transparent & Accountable
All council votes and councillor attendance now recorded and online.
Council & Committee Agendas, records of decision, most reports online.
Posted More Expenses Online
Purchasing Card expenses now online.
Senior Managers' expenses approved to go online in 2012.
But keep those thieving Liberals in power Provincially, no matter how many billions of your tax dollars they misappropriate. |

Privatizing waste management, shutting down the transit city plan(wasting $65M in the process... just because he thinks 1 subway line is more important than dozens of LRT lines that would actually service the whole city), forcing layoffs in the police department as crime goes up, wasting more money getting rid of much needed, recently built bike lanes- because he likes cars more... these are the reasons he needs to be kicked out. Not to mention his abuses of power, and the generally embarrassing way he represents a world class city. |

you know the post used to just be the "thieving liberals" part.
if that was at least at the top, you could have just stopped reading at the editorial adjective like anybody else would.
sorry for your luck. |

should stop reading at the user name.
The funny thing is, I've already said in the past that I like what the conservatives have done in power, and that the ontario liberal government is poop.
But Dopps doesn't read anything that doesn't conform to his world view.
It's also worth noting, he gave Ford credit for things that were already happening from before he came to power, and mentions some of his follies as positives. |

So, linking the 2012 attacks to the 2001 attacks, and addressing terrorism as a whole doesn't do enough to call them a terrorist attack?
talk about a stretch
