The same government that can give people things is the same government that can take things away. I'd rather a freer society and a smaller government. There's a reason Canadians with serious maladies (cancer, etc.) would come to the States for medical attention when waiting lists and other forms of red tape would hinder getting the care they needed. A friend's father died waiting for a chemo reginmen that would have started much sooner here. Free's ok if you don't get what you pay for.

Not a truer statement. I work in health care and pretty much every person that voted for their "free benefits" has no idea what they've signed up for. When their grandma can't get life saving surgery due to her age and you have to wait till her condition becomes acute it will become apparent or when their condition isn't deemed neccesary to treat they may realise? After he turns our system upside down and spends billions doing so I wonder if people will get it then? Considering Obama got the college kid/moron vote I'm doubtful.
