I haven't had the time to sit down yet... either at work or on my phone... I'll get to it

Well you better get on the phone to the White House and tell them their own numbers are wrong.

Table 1.1 (http://www.whitehouse.gov...y2013/assets/hist01z1.xls) shows the official White House deficit Number PROVING Obama's deficit numbers are HIGHER by a large margin, than Bush's

You probably shouldn't read it, it contains facts. I know how much you hate those.

http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/Historicals

Bush's last four years

2005 -318,346
2006 -248,181
2007 -160,701
2008 -458,553
total..............................................-1186,781

Obama's last four years
2009 -1,412,688
2010 -1,293,489
2011 -1,299,595
2012 -1,326,948
total............................................-5332,720

Obama..................Bush
(-5332,720) - (-1186,781) = -4145,939 higher than Bush

way to be informed..

Democrats are forcing the current healthcare down our throat.... Ask any republican if they feel we need reform to the current healthcare system and 90-100% of them would agree, they just don't agree with the way it was set up by the democrats. And then there is the fact that Obamacare is in direct violation of the Bill of Rights.

Let me put together a hypothetical for you.. Lets say you don't want to kill your neighbor because you feel it is wrong and against your morals to do so or have any involvement in the act of doing it. But the government came in and said that because that person is not wanted by your other neighbor you must give me $100 dollars to kill him..

Whether you think a fetus is a human life or not, the catholic church (and others) believes so and they want to have no involvement in the act of murdering that child. But the government is currently giving them the middle finger and says i don't care about your morals we only care about ours.

It is fine that you do not believe in the church and their ideals but they don't force you to believe.. So why can you force your ideals on them? what makes you better than them?

who's forcing their thoughts on the catholic church? Are we making good catholic girls have abortions?

the new bill forces the catholic church to provide and pay for healthcare that can provide abortions and contrception to its employees... it also makes takes the tax dollars from the catholics and puts it towards those services.. therefore they are indirectly paying for the services. You might think it is a thin arguement but would want to have any part in funding something that you feel is fundamentally wrong?

I am not catholic and i don't understand why i have to pay for other people to be able to feel safe while sleeping around.. can someone please explain that to me...

well that was a bit much... but why should i have to pay for contraception of someone else to have sex? If you can't do it responsibly on your own maybe you just shouldn't be doing it..

Not just that but they hand out condoms at a lot of places.. i just don't understand. Take responsibility for your actions and quit relying on the government to bail you out.

i can understand stopping the spread of aids and others... but that needs to be done through education.. actions have consequences and the younger americans are starting to forget that...

Obama talkign about how education is the key to STD spreading (which i agree with, see i don't blindly disagree with everything)... but then he goes on to state that if his daughters were to fail to follow this education he wouldn't want them to suffer with a child or an STD.. he wants to teach about it, but what does the teaching do if we then end by saying there are no consequences? I would guess it does very little or nothing.

i'd have to actually see the vid to comment. no offense, but sometimes i have noticed things people say being taken however people want to take it when it comes to dems vs pubs. not to say that's necessarily what you've done with this vid, but like for instance, yesterday i came in here and half jokingly responded to a point that republicans are saying they're fed up with the blind backing of obama by saying i was sure dems were pretty fed up with the blind backing of bush during his time. people responded with talking about obama blaming bush for what's going on, etc. when all i addressed was the point that the blind faith thing goes both ways. these people that blindly backed bush during that 8 yr debacle had to be out of their minds. and that was my only point, which literally nobody who responded was actually responding to. in any event, i just left yesterday because it looked like people just wanted to push their agendas and argue. not what i was there for.

i think that was me that said something about clinton being part of the blame for the problems when i read that.. I did see what you were saying in there but that popped in my head and i thought i would bring it up.

and i understand on the blind faith.. i know i at times have been guilty of it, but i would like to think that i try to look for the reasons behind things. I do find it hard to believe alot of what is put out there in the media, especially he fiscal numbers, they can be tinkered with all over the place and i am not at all into accounting to follow up on some of the stuff.

i've honestly stopped listening to anything the news says and just started going off what i've seen. i'm old enough now that both sides have track records i can go off of.

listening to the news is all just spin depending who you are listening to and talking to some people is impossible (on both sides). if braidan would just close this thread and start a part 3, i would never post in it so it wouldn't light up in my "my threads".

sadly that is the problem.. you can almost always know the stance of a candidate just by knowing what party they are affliated with..

Which is why people keep on bringing up bush... And the fact that the right is getting more and more radically religious.

Obama..................Bush
(-5332,720) - (-1186,781) = -4145,939

Well here's the problem, the spending in 2009 was largely set in place before Bush left office, and was one of the (many) problems Obama inherited from the previous republican president. Since then he has, in fact lowered it every year, despite the recession, and despite supporting industries that are vital to America... Ones that are key to an economic turn-around.... And ones that Romney would have let shrivel and die.

NOW, please tell us how the White House numbers, clearly showing Obama's Deficit numbers being astronomically higher(-4145,939) than Bush's, are wrong!!!

Does that mean we can bring up Bloomberg and his radically socialist ideals? Government telling me what I can drink and eat and showing how much he cares about "the 47%" by using the governments resources to make sure the marathon tents are heated and safe. Oh and the unions turning away help because they are not union people.

It goes both ways. And if you ask me using religion is your base for making decisions is better than what the democrats use. And then there is the fact that the biggest reason for the market crash was actually legislation put forth by Clinton, but facts mean nothing.

I have to ask though, outside of abortion what do conservatives use religion on. Please provide examples.

I find it funny how many americans claim to love their country, but insist on having it run by people who couldnt care less about how many people suffer for the few who would benefit from their policies.

A successful country starts with a healthy, educated population... Thats something you get from having a government that subsidizes healthcare and education. And with the system in the US, you've got one party pushing for healthcare, and another populated with religion-over-science nutjobs. The choice should be quite clear.

- Feeling Glucky?

So u are saying obama is pro education? Yeah he says he us like alot of other things he says. Tell my 6 tenured teacher friends that have been layed off. Tell the two former school districts that dont exist anymore in the affluent area i live in. Obama talks a good talk but doesnt walk the walk. Bush's fault?

You should be our president. You know how to build a "successful" country. America. The worlds only super power... Yet unsuccessful
