actually, it proved that you were talking him up for far more than he did.

You claimed he was taking the puck away from OV "time and time again" and had his number all night.

After the stats were posted, you admitted it only happened twice.

Or did you forget that part of the thread?

but he saw those 2 times so he knows more.

I watched the game, and said he recovered the puck from OV at least tow or three times.

Another poster later claimed that he saw the EXACT same thing. It happened, and stats readers can say whatever they want, it does not change the fact.

here is one of the takeaways, after Karlsson stripped OV of the puck and turn the play the other way.

Tell me this is Photoshopped.

In reference to Karlsson be able to either stop OV, or push him to the outside and removing the scoring threat and taking away the passing lanes for attempted back passes.

I know, I saw the game. Just as I'll watch the game tonight vs the Sabres.

Karlsson played the most minutes of any Senator (27:05) that night, and mostly against OV, who did not make it onto the score sheet.

What does that tell you???
I know, I saw the game.

I hope he could play like that every night, but young defensemen don't, and that's why it stood out to anyone who watched the game.

you didn't watch it, so does that make you an expert?

A little logic is not much to ask for, and you usually do use it.

After you ref a game, will you know more about that game than someone who only reads the stats?

and as for the reffing comment honestly i do way too many games a week to tell you what happened during the game. We remember the funny / out of the ordinary stuff but most refs that ref alot of games cant tell you the score or sometimes who won

i have 17 games in the next 3 days... you think im going to remember 17 scores?

im sure it would be different if i was an nhl ref, doing like 2 games a week full of stars... but im not i do OMHA and beerleagues righ tnow

Well it was out of character for you, had you in on this ridiculous conversation that started almost a month ago, so that's why it seemed odd. You're one of the few objective leaf fans here, so thanks for the explanation.

When you say "removed th scoring threat", is this apart from his season high seven shots on net, and his three on Karlsson alone (also would have been a season high)?

Is this a regular thing or does he get many goals scored on him while he's on the ice?

that OV was cold, and still managed 7 shots on net, his season high at that point.

You mean the conversation about Schenn that had nothing to do with the sens that you derailed to talk up a player who-by your own admission- did very little to earn it?

He's absolutely horrible defensively. I don't know why Doppledouche denies it.

It's that he's been horrible defensively this season, it's just that he's been horrible.

He's looking better now, actually, and getting more minutes because of it.
