2 wins

Dude ...that was a very weak defense as the preseason series would have to be Leafs 2 Ottawa 1 for us to have "doubled" up.
We've only played them twice

If he has another great year give that fooker his money Then give Kuli some money

Then find Komi in a ditch somewhere.

Completely unrelated, the Russian mafia used to kill people by stuffing their throat with snow, and then hanging them upside down, so that as it melts, it leaves the body, leaving no trace...when all is said and done, the victims look like they died of hypothermia.

OT again, are we facing winnipeg during winter?

I think Kulemin and Grabo play soccer right under the ice cooling system. They should invite Komi along... Training in the cold lets you last longer.

I was surprised nobody mentioned in the first 10 or so posts...when I finally brought it up.
Ken was probably brought up thinking that if you score two more goals than the opponent ...you double up on them

The KGM line was looking like last year. Reimer is still Reimer. Kadri did well as a C, and Frattin continues to play well.

I think I've accepted the fact that Frattin will go to the Marlies, and be a go-to guy there. It will be good for him.

- AnnGee44

Last night was the first game I really had a good look at and for me Frattin looked like an NHL player. He played hard in all 3 zones and had a few scoring chances (wicked shot). Kadri looked like a hot mess ...tonnes of skill but he just doesn't seem to have any consistency. I'm not sure what they do, and some of it will hinge on Lombo and Brown, but if it were me I'd have Frattin ahead of Kadri for now.

The hanging upside down might have given the police some clue of foul play

And think, I was basically ridiculed and lambasted here about saying Frattin will be the one most NHL ready last year for this year, he may still go the Marlies but at least I know I was pretty damn close on this one.

Hope it wasn't me. He's 23 and physically mature so it makes sense that he's ahead of Kadri in some ways.

Hockeybuzz is notorious for soapbox-ridicule whenever someone attempts to opine or speculate. The funny part is that we're all here to opine and speculate ...except for the few that simply come to ridicule.

my issue with frattin is his endurance hasnt been tested over the course of a full professional season.

yes, i know alot of kids make the jump straight from college, and I am sure if we looked into it, many of their stats start to wane just after the midway point of the season i would bet

I think it was code for 'he'll be dead'.

So has preseason changed your opinion at all about Komi making the top 6? Still a couple of games left and Gunnar and Aulie didn't look especially good last night but it seems that the tide is working against Komi a little bit.

Anybody see the Sportsnet interview with Dennis Potvin? He said that Liles and Franson have been the Leafs best d'men in preseason. Not sure I agree but interesting view.

It wasn't you, you seem to be always respectful around here, just the way it is here, you make a suggestion or opinion and you get ridiculed for it at times, I always or try always to say "I think" or "in my opinion" I don't speak for all Leaf fans and try not to give an opinion as fact, I try to keep it to just me.
