didnt mean to jump the gun. didnt realize we all were to submit at once. but i agree that is a good idea.

i gotta say that was pretty f'n tough

when i used to draw it was always more cartoony stuff so comic-realism is a challenge.

getting it all proportionate was the hardest part and i failed at that majorly in some areas. I was never able to do those light sketches just to get the body form down so i just do each area full detail and then move to the next. Started with the right arm, then on to the head with this one...

That's what I thought. It looks so weird like he thought nobody would notice it because of all the lines.

Yeah you didn't do too badly though for going about it that way. It does look patched together but it's not right out and it has life to it.

No, no Ultron is old. It's the picture that isn't old.

Besides the 90s had the best comic art ever so don't worry about it.

ultron was drawn by one dude for a long time, can't remember the name, but adge was pissed that the drawing we're doing is not by that guy. he's very adamant about these things.

Yeah well it's true. Late 80s, early 90s = best comic art ever. It wasn't riddled with computer crap and the artists at that time were a bunch of mutant drawing machines.

(I only have two arms so it can't get worse on the arm bar front).

but i had a reason for picking that picture of ultron. the shading, remember?

a lot of thought went into making that selection.

i agree.

i liked the 80's and 90's because the characters were drawn a certain way. after a while it became like looking at video game art and i was turned off.

no no. i really liked the artwork better.

and there were actual frames on the pages. now you open a comic book and every page looks like one big picture.
