I know you'll probably hate me for it, but I actually liked T3 better than either. Why? T1, cool plotline but suffered from bad dialogue. T2 - Edward Furlong. T3 - Good dry humor, naked hot fraulein Terminator. TSalvation - just didn't hit it with me. not sure why.

No, he is an annoyance. But I also found the John Connor in T3 to be an annoyance. In fact, I feel the quality of the Terminator film is inversely proportionate to the number of seconds John Connor spends on screen.
