Like many folks in the comic-book industry, Karl Kesel has a massive comics collection.

However, that won't be the case for long -- Kesel is selling his books online so that he can start a new life with his new family.

Kesel and his wife recently adopted a baby born to heroin-addicted parents. Proceeds from his comic-book sales will help pay for the adoption and medical expenses.

"I don't necessarily feel like I'm putting away childish things," Kesel told The Oregonian. "I may be putting away my childish things. But I'm embracing (my son) Isaac's. I think I'm getting another childhood here."

Help him out -- and enrich your own collection -- by purchasing books at BlastoffComics.com. Karl purchased many of the titles when he was a child; so far the selection includes Avengers, Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, Incredible Hulk, Thor and tons more. Additional titles will be added periodically.
