as for the boat, drifting in the ocean,no land in sight ,with huge swells coming up to your nauseating little windows for weeks on end sounds totally horrifying to me.

I think you have me confused with someone else. I never said I went to the UK and I've never been outside North America.

The only way I would travel somewhere is if I was going somewhere truly different like Darwin and the Galapagos. Sadly humans have been on every (frank)ing square inch of this universe forsaken rock and all that's left is superficial discovery like a nice bar or a goofy tiny car.

On the plus side scientists have discovered a way to store antimatter and so hopefully a matter/antimatter warp drive will not be far off. Sign me up for that.

I think you have me confused with someone else. I never said I went to the UK and I've never been outside North America.

Nah I'm not joking. Unless I was going to Europe with a purpose like meeting Shatner it sounds dreadfully dull. Humanity as a whole doesn't really interest me and neither does geography. If you gave me the option of drawing in my own kitchen or travelling to Holland I'd take the kitchen drawing session. It sounds more productive.

That was a typo in the script.

Missing out on what? I think if it were 200 years ago and it were difficult to get certain spices etc that you'd never otherwise taste it would be worth going overseas but these days all of that is already here. Sometimes there's too much of it here. Which brings me to another point: these days I don't even have to go overseas to be annoyed by other cultures.
