Paul is totally jelly of him
- shvingter88

Actually Paul tried for quite some time to get Malmsteed to do a duet with him and Malmsteen always refuses because he doesn't like being upstaged.

Pikey, this was possibly one of the greatest moments in DC's history.

True. It showed that even with a broken back, Batman will find a way to persevere.

I'm a little concerned about Tom Hardy playing Bane... I'm not sure which angle they're going to go with for him. The highly intelligent Bane or the muscular zombie Bane... I understand that he was originally written as a combination of the two, but usually these movies don't like to give these villains that much of a variation...

I'd bet intelligent Bane. There's no way they're going to make Tom Hardy look that big and not give him any lines etc...

True, I just think they (frank)ed up the Scarecrow, so I'm a little nervous about Bane.

With the Scarecrow they got the right actor, the right angle, but they didn't give him anywhere near enough credit for the level of potential that character actually has.

He didn't even say one nursery rhyme.

And the best line he had "Dr. Crane isn't in right now..." was cribbed from the Dark Knight Halloween special by Tim Sale and Jeph Loeb.

Still not going to complain. Batman Begins was fantastic.

Agreed. I do like that Nolan has, for the most part, gone with the lesser used, more interesting villains for the most part. Obviously you can't do a Batman series of films without the Joker, but Ra's Al Ghul was a nice touch to say the least.

I heard it was a toss up in the next movie between Bane and Gorilla Grodd.

Yeah... every once in a while DC comes out with a villain that just makes you assume that they aren't even trying anymore.

Though he's actually got a really cool storyline right now in Grodd of War.
