Yes Sheldon is the tall dork that insults everyone and while I find his mannerisms sometimes annoying I agree with a good 90 percent of the things his character says.

Nothing on TV matters to me now that hockey is done, except maybe Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

I watch Spongebob Squarepants with my kids sometimes. I think it's brilliant.

I swear to universe Batman: The Brave and the Bold is the best show on TV. I was sold the minute Red Tornado gave Batsy a "World's Best Detective" mug for Christmas.

Yes, that's one of the ten percent of things I disagree with Sheldon about: string theory.

I highly suggest doing so. Use the pretense that your children wish to watch it, if that makes you feel better.

Im used to using my children to justify watching cartoons. It's handy.

Even if they could test it, they would find they're wrong. The whole process string theory has gone through has been more religious than scientific and I am looking forward to the day where the concept is shoved into the dustbin.

Roger Penrose has a lot of much more interesting ideas these days than the string theorists.

The suggestion that they would have to write an entire new mathematical language to even attempt to prove it's existence kind of blew me away. not too daunting of a task.

and a deviant.

I recommend How To Train A Dragon to you. New Astro Boy is actually pretty good. MegaMind was great. I'll let you know what Cars 2 is like quite shortly, as my children have already gotten me to sign a contract stating I will take them on opening night or they win posession of my soul.

They have bigger problems than that. To get an energetic enough particle accelerator to test their "theory" it would have to have the circumference of the Milky Way.

Having to come up with new math or creative ways of using math isn't a problem. Einstein did it several times, especially in his use of tensor calculus and his famous Einstein Notation, but he was using it to express an idea, not explain away problems with a flawed idea.

I was under the impression that the language would involve creating an entirely new set of rules and couldn't even really be classified as linear or non-linear. Basically like saying "English sucks. Let's write a new language that follows none of the same rules and sounds completely different."

As for the accelerator...you scurred?

Firstly, no: you'd have to be a moron to be scard of the CERN facility.

Secondly, all math is is a language to express logic. You could invent new notation but logic is still logic. Lots of math is neither linear or non-linear. All kinds of math has nothing to do with functions, lines, systems etc. I don't know what it would mean to have non-logic based math except perhaps you're moving into idiocy.

I tried Dexter and I'll never return. Were I to delve into the walking dead I'd read the comic but I believe the zombie fad has run its course with me.
