I thought he was a oiler fan... meh... who was the last highly-touted player that signed with Ottawa?

were not as big of homers. we ADMIT its hard to get UFA's to come play for us. you guys should too.
- gretzky

How exactly is it hard to get players to come to Toronto? We've had veteren players give up shots at cups to stay on a losing team because they didn't want to leave Toronto.

I think Calgary is pretty dull.

Montreal is a fun city to visit, but terrible to live in. Vancouver is pretty good, but ridiculously expensive.

Terrible economy. Ridiculous political situation. I lived there for 23 years. Would never move back.

You're probably a fat (bleep) fatter than (frank)ing Ken Hitchcock... so obviously you couldn't enjoy the very nice stuff happening in Montreal, events full of beautiful educated people.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as irony or not... but it sure is funny

While the city might have a few uneducated tw@ts like Jeffy Jones, the majority of the people here aren't like that. Unless you're a city counselor or some other part of municipal politics, if you have a job I don't understand how the terrible economy could affect you, nor the political situation. You can get by living in this city speaking either language, and cases of either English people or French people getting discriminated against are isolated incidents at this point. Downtown is beautiful 12 months a year, the night life is lively and always booming and there's always something to do.

We have one of the lowest crime rates in the country (Quebec in general anyway), and it isn't as expensive to live here as it is in most other major canadian cities.

Anywhere in Quebec is terrible to live in, and this is coming from a guy who lives in Newfoundland.

You are correct. Ontario also has very low crime rates, many lower than Quebec.
