But I take full responsibility...but the prof. didn't have to make me explain why I was late to the entire class and waste everyone's time. He could have given me a lecture on tardiness after class.

In high school first class was over at 9:05 or 9:10 or something. I would show up 2 minutes before 9 so that I wouldn't get an absent on the attendance list. An absent meant a call home, a late meant (frank) all. Then that teacher told my mom during parent interviews what I had been doing. Mom wasn't too happy.

My first two years of high school we had no phone calls for attendance...then grade 11 came and everything changed
