Well the Leafs just caught, and passed Tampa. Once again, you were wrong.

Also, can you please update your "true standings" stats.

Thanks in advance. Much love xo

four points behind the leafs, with two game in hand, on the leafs (vs the Islanders) that don't matter.

You did not know that games in hand don't matter?

Only 3 teams in the East have less points in their last 10 games than the Bolts. The Isles, Panthers, and Sabres. Stamkos may make a difference, but one point and a couple of games in hand aren't a big difference at all right now, especially with them playing like crap.

No one said that. Not one person.

When talking about Pts% games in hand are irrelevant.

According to you, maybe.

But we understand what games in hand are, and how they're taken into account when looking at point percentage.

But maybe you're just one of those people who doesn't understand basic math.

Examples of some math problems you have trouble with:
36>23
77>48
1 1st round pick> 0 1st round picks

Keep hoping the Sens pass the Leafs though... if they do, just makes our future that much better, while you guys have nothing but some meaningless games to look forward to.

Man is your head ever hard.

Vancouver currently sits 20th over and has a .520 P%
New Jersey currently sits 21th over and has a .520 P%

If you were to bet on which team was going to finish ahead of the other, at seasons end, which would you pick?

VAn has 6 games left (12pts).... .520pts % = 6pts =85pts total

NJD has 8 games left (16pts)..... .520pts% = 8pts = 85PTS total

Do you see how PTS % works now??

who are they each playing and when? At home or on the road? How healthy are they? What kind of streak/slump are they on? how do their skillsets match up against their opponent's skillsets?

What a silly question.

Yeah, I thought you'd leave that alone, and not prove your total incompetence.

Anyone (with a brain) would bet on the Devils, because they have two games in hand, on the Canucks.

Just looking at the P% alone, did not tell you that did it?

Check again.

Why would anyone with a brain pick NJD?? jsut because he have more games doesn't mean they automatically wins those games.

You're not going to consider who each plays and when and any b2b??

If they both play 0.520 hockey for their remaining games they are even.

Oh my dear hard headed friend.

your mighty leafs have proven the fact that teams DON"T play at their current P% rate.

Back on March 14th the leafs had a .588 P%.

Did they continue to play at that rate?

Let me make it easy for you.........No they did not, they've played at a stunning .000 P% rate since then, and today at a .526 P%.

All the other teams that passed then all had a game, or games in hand on the leafs, and made it that much easier to pass them, because they had more chances to win points (before the end of the season) than the leafs did from March 14th onward.

Why don't the leaf control their own future, in their pursuit of the final wild-card spot currently held by the Blue Jackets?

Well, the "Magic Number" for the Blue Jackets to eliminate the leafs from the playoffs is 10.

The Blue Jackets can eliminate the leafs, all on their own by accumulating 10 points in their remaining 8 games, two more games than the leafs have left to play.

At this time of the season, games remaining are a "Plus" and when ALL the Sports networks show you the current standing, they ALL list the games remaining.

I liked the Leaf's game most of this year. They play a good brand of hockey, exciting to watch. But, they made some unfortunate choices last year. They made poor decions in regard to buying out contracts and letting the wrong guys walk. They have some really tough choices in the upcoming season.

Hard to imagine there being a contending team without a true #1 center or #1 D.

The implication was that even if the games in hand were different, that factor alone should not indicate to anyone who's bound to finish higher or lower.
