nobody said that. we said the Leafs are in a better situation. big difference.

but youve been wrong all over the place, youre emotionally triggered and a mess.

the blue jays made the final four ib back to back years but it was obvious they were old and teams like the Yankees and Red Sox with their youth were in better situations than them and this year isnproving that.

Another example. Ducks went further than the Oilers but its clear which team is in a better situation. You'd have to be a (frank)ing idiot SpatsDoO0pps to think that team is the Ducks.

It's the SpatsDoops way... just ignore anything that you don't like and make poop up to make your point.

Who? The only way that argument was EVER made in here is "relative to expectations".

The Sens are built to win NOW. Despite other teams having catastrophic injuries, they failed. Now they are just older.

The Leafs were expected to contend for a lottery pick. They made the playoffs and took the Presidents trophy winners to 6 games, 5 in OT and many people believed they ultimately cost the Capitals the series against Pittsburgh.

So at a literal level, the Sens had the better season (finished higher, went further)

The Leafs fared better against expectations.

Do you understand the concept of "relative to expectations".

It's going to happen....... Really! Karlsson will lead the NHL in scoring with 60 goals and 140 points, Anderson will win a Vezina. Melnyk will become filthy rich again and sign Karlsson to an 8 year (team friendly) $6 million a year deal, Bobby Ryan will be a top ten scorer and Tom Pyatt will be league MVP.

I might, so long as they rebranded and stopped being....them. Canes would still be my main squeeze though.

I was there for opening night, shocked at how empty it was. Probably 75% full at most, and more than half that was leaf fans.

Embarassing

Jesus... even Canes games hit about 90% capacity when the Leafs, Habs, Sabres, Rangers or Pens are playing.

obviously not a good situation. ever after an ecf

Senators removing seats...

The Ottawa Senators are removing 1500 seats from their Canadian Tire Centre to "right size" the seating capacity to around 17,000...Brent Wallace of TSN says they are doing this to boost demand for season tickets...Less seats does mean less seats after all. I can't remember a situation like this before...can anyone out there?

well, for one, the sens management team needs an economics lesson.

reducing supply increases prices, not demand.

Argos had hoped that moving to BMO would create a better atmosphere than playing in the SkyDome did... that didn't work either.

Only thing I can think of that would be similar.
