He's showing how easy it is to make an argument if you just ignore massive amounts of data, and just cherry pick the facts that suit your needs.

In reality, the Leafs have a comparable, if not superior pool of talent from late in the draft.

But reality is biased against everything Dopps believes in.

I would be interested in those names, do any come to mind?

Your mom.

Looks dropped her down to the later rounds.

Her willingness to get on her knees and into the dirty areas made her a valuable player for years.

I hate to say it, but any rational person would be hard pressed not to recognize that the Leafs are in a better situation

sad that you have to take things out of context, to mock others, when you can't address the point of the original post.

But when you can't point to the standings, making the playoffs, advancing to the finals, winning a Presidents trophy .............. or pretty much anything on the ice ............ I guess you have to grasp at straws eh?

leafs have failed terribly at drafting, whether in the first round, but most notably in later rounds, where the Senators have been stronger than most teams.

the pendulum has swung so far in the Leafs favour now there is nothing left to do but that.

I mean JFC you posted a picture of the Sens banners from the 1920's as proof of something.. .I mean the (frank)ing 20's??!!

I feel I went easy on you

The problem is this all in the past. Should I brag the Leafs have the 2nd most Stanley cups as a rebuttal?

The Leafs are in a better situation. It's okay to admit what we all already know.

Did not think you could produce them. Your inability to list late round picks only goes to show how much better the Sens have been over the years at drafting players, in the later rounds, that go on to play in the NHL .................. while the leafs, not so much.

Daniel Alfredsson 133rd overall
Chris Neil 161st overall
Mike Fisher 44th overall
Chris Kelly 94th overall
Brian Elliott 291st overall
Zack Smith 79th overall
Mike Hoffman 130th overall
Mark Stone 178th overall

Francis Perron of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, drafted 190th overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2014, wins the Guy Lafleur Trophy as the QMJHL President Cup playoffs MVP.

Again, further proof that Ottawa has been much more successful, than the leafs, when drafting in the later rounds.

Perron, was also named the league’s regular season MVP, becoming the first player since Jonathan Drouin of the Halifax Mooseheads to win both awards.

That's off the top of my head, and without having to go as high as the second round to include a 3rd liner to help prove my point.
