Good solid win last night. One of the best games (to watch) this season. Really exposed the value of Price to the Habs line up.

He will be a Hart nominee.

Thought the Sens played a really complete game. Very encouraging to see all the young guys starting to figure it out.

But, there is nothing in hockey more skillful than watching 65 handle the twig. Karlsson's numbers last night were right off the chart. Possession was at a 2:1 ratio in favour of the Sens whenever he was on the ice. Unbelievable!

They showed a stat last night about karlsson with the shots for and shots against being in the sens favor with him on the ice. Considering how some say how bad defensively he is the stats said otherwise. Or it could mean the rest of their defense is that bad

i think it's both.

karlsson's defense isn't nearly as bad as some idiots here will have you believe (cough cough prock cough).....but the rest of the D is also really bad (except methot and ceci)

leaf fans would love to have Karlsson on their team. He's better than any of their current crop of D Men.

The toronto media went hogtown wild after one highlight reel goal by Morgan Rielly, sure he's a great prospect..........but Karlsson has been doing stuff like that almost on a nightly basis, for years now.

If you watched the game vs Montreal, you would have clearly seen there is not a single player who is floating and waiting for the season to end. It was one of the most entertaining games in a while, lots of speed and hitting. I watched a bit of the Habs vs Panthers last night, an it looked like a non contact game compared to the Senators win over the Habs the night before.

Did not think Subban would have played last night.

Are you suggesting that when a fan pays $$$$ for a game they should expect less than a hard working effort from your team?

If I were to pay money to go see the leafs right now (not a chance I would).. I want them to lose.. so I really dont care

That said, I dont think the leafs players are mailing it in. I think its just lazy reporting that keeps putting out these articles about no compete and lazy players and not caring.
If a team loses..they didnt care and didnt compete..thats whats reported now by MSM

I actually like watching NHL hockey, no matter who wins, or is playing. People assume Leaf tickets are bought to watch the Leafs. I go to Leaf games to watch NHL hockey. I enjoy it more when the Leafs win, but if they’re playing, for example, the Penguins, I’m pretty happy because I’ve gotten to watch someone like Sidney Crosby work his magic, no matter who wins. I went to a Wings game last year, and Datsyuk was on fire. He scored a goal, and won the game in the shootout, with some beauty moves. I was more than happy to pay to see that.

Maybe that’s why the ACC sells out so much. Toronto has hockey fans. Other cities have Sens/Habs fans. It would explain things like the World Juniors not selling out in Montreal, Sens inability to fill the building, general lack of knowledge by the Sens/Habs fans regarding hockey, and the rest of the league, etc. Just a theory.

You're an arrogant pompous jackass and a lying sack of poop... if I'm looking for a guy who's clueless about hockey, all I have to do is go look at the things you've been posting on here for years now.

I think this breaks the CoC to be honest.

I posted facts. Montreal could not sell out the world juniors games. Sens can't fill their buildings. Is there something wrong with those statements?

I checked for tickets. $280 for mid-range tickets to see Danemark vs Slovakia or whatever the teams were isn't exactly appealing to me.

Tickets were cheaper in Montreal then they were in Toronto. Toronto sold out.

To the extent that there is talk of Hockey Canada just moving the entire 2017 world juniors to Toronto, because there was more support for it there.

Toronto also had the medal rounds. Which probably rubbed some people the wrong way in Montreal. Also, it was a welcome change for Toronto fans to see a team winning at the ACC, for a change.

Truth be told, I don't care it that the WJC games were sold out in toronto and not in montreal. What bothers me is you, of all people, questioning other's people hockey knowledge.

It's simply laughable.

The ACC sells out because of supply and demand, basic economic 101. The population of the GTA is in the 7 million range, or about 7 times that of Ottawa.

But when your team can't compete on the ice (standing / qualifying for playoffs etc) then I guess you have to resort to non hockey related reasons to delude yourself, and yourself only that the leafs are better on some level that counts.

I'm sure it bothers you that your fellow Habs fans are generally ignorant about hockey, the NHL, etc, outside of the Habs. But I state facts.

If fans in Montreal were rubbed the wrong way about Toronto having the medal rounds, that certainly supports that are ignorant to anything hockey outside the Habs, as Montreal was slated to get the medal round, while Toronto gets the round robin, in 2017. So, I’m sure you can agree, that getting angry, or feeling snubbed, that Montreal didn’t get the medal round this year, is pretty ignorant of them, right?

Or, is this something that lowly ole Prock should know, but not the almighty Habs fans, for some other reason?

Yes, I agree, there is a demand for NHL, and other top level hockey, in Toronto, which just doesn't exist in Montreal or Ottawa. That's my point.
