Their goal production at the pro level is almost identical.

Leivo wins in point production.

Who do you take, a guy with 29 goals, and 52 points, or a guy with 30 goals and 48?

And since spastic's so big on +/-, let's add in that the first guy is a +6, while the other is -11.

- Feeling Glucky?

so one is slightly better in goals, one is slightly better in pts........like i said, they're very comparable players. my point wasn't that one was better than the other....my point was that, as usual, prock is out to lunch claiming that leivo is WITHOUT QUESTION the far superior player who has outproduced puempel at every level.

hahaha. While I can understand why you're getting a little hurt here, what do you have to base that on? Anything? Or are you just pulling stupid crap out of your a$$?
- prock

All Leivo's assists were secondary. All puempel a were primary.

Puempel is an elite level playmaker :p

what did you have to base yoru statement that leivo drastically outproduced puempel in jr's?

or are you implying that every single one of his assists was a primary assist?

i base my opinion on logic, as in it's logical to assume that a fair number of his assists were likely secondary assits.

you base your opinions on, well, nothing..........and it's evident when your opinions are shown to wrong when acutally looking at the numbers.

No Puemple is a goal scorer. A very good scorer. All the other stuff is just fluff.

I see. So you're willing to concede that he's been far better than Puempel at every level, just not that he's far superior.

Sure, I'll compromise. He's better. But not by far. Not really close, not too far. Kind of like a medium distance.

Don't ever try claim I'm not reasonable.

Well, I'm sure if Lazar had been good enough to make the u18s, you'd care

Edit: and the league Nylander played in the most when he wasn't in the super-elit was the Swedish equivalent of the AHL, so still a professional men's league, not a junior team. And he was over ppg there.

- Feeling Glucky?

i have a hard time believing that the "AHL" of the swedish elite leauge is any better than the CHL. i believe that the players are older, but probably less skilled.

I was pointing out that the laughies were unnecessary on your part.

Leivo could very well be better than puempel, or the other way around.

But I highly doubt you'll find too many GMs willing to trade a guy who projects to be a 2nd/3rd liner, who's never played against men for a guy who projected to be a top 6 player, who's already shown he can produce in professional leagues

Don't try and argue logic with them. This is their answer to the Leafs losing both games last night. They fudge, deflect and avoid. They prefer to discuss details rather than substance. They believe the Leafs have always finished ahead of the Sens in the standings, just like last year.

Yes, I've said stuff like "I'd rather have Kadri than Cowen", every year. And those have turned out to be wise things.

You guys have only been yapping about Turris for half a season, as he cracked 40 points for the first time in his career. Which isn't anything special to begin with. But I guess with nothing else to cling on to, Sens fans clung on to him.

actually, i told you exactly what i based it on...........logic. unless, like i said, you believe all his assits were primary assits.

it seems fair to base my opinion on that, since every opinion you have has virtually no evidence to back it up, and in fact, often times the numbers show the exact opposite.

You realize Kadri was on the ice for all 3 goals scored by the B Sens? In the same game Cowen played 24 minutes and ended the night +1.

The majority of his ahl assists were primary by a wide margin. Can you say the same about puempel?

It really just depends on what you feel is more important.

Success at the pro level or success at the junior level.

Success at the pro level favours both Nylander and Leivo

Success at the junior level favours Puempel and Lazar
