Les Trois Accords (The Three Chords)



These long-time friends first made their name with their Pavement-style-comical songs on college radios. They perfected their feel good pop songwriting over the years and reached the commercial radios over time. Their lyric and video ideas always surprise. At first, they come down as sarcastic clowns, but there is something about them that make people just smile and be happy.



In 2009 they casted an unknown black actor playing a 50s soul singer for the video of Dans mon corps (In My Body), a song where the lead singer imagines himself as a teen girl going through the growing pains of puberty.





Again in 2009, a regular video this time, with flashes of that black singer here and there, singing about being sick and asking for his/her friend to tell him things to forget the serious news he got from the doctor.





In 2016, this song is called Les dauphins et les licornes (Dolphins and Unicorns), and the video is played by 4 random teenagers.





In 2018, a song named Beaucoup de plaisir (Lots of Fun)
