i had to turn this off like 15 seconds into the vocals starting. puts too much emphasis on the vocals, like the opposite of what was originally intended. that would not be a problem if i liked that vocal style i admit.

agreed. my girl at least changed the tempo and the vibe into full on jazzy.

this band here just basically added strings and a new vocalist. they did it well but i want to a cover to give the song new/different life if possible

Watched ep1 of Ozark on Netflix and the choice of conclusion song of the episode was god damn (frank)ing perfect. Decks Dark, the best song on Radiohead's last album.

i like mogwai but peak godspeed is a lot better to me. silver mt zion is probably my fav in that genre though.

haven't heard of do make say think, i'll give them a listen within the next 9 years

the sleaze off the top, then the heavy, then the bowie & the horns, then more sleaze, then the strings, and then the culmination of it all. top 10 qotsa song for me
