Love this one... but the old Left Music/Right Vocal early Stereo mix was just godawful.

FWIW:

IMHO This was The Beatles' apex album... their best ever, trailing off a bit with Revolver, IIRC, and then spiraling downward (... for the Beatles, anyway)... Sgt Pepper and beyond was not their best period, but did have some really fantastic tracks scattered about... Before Sgt. Pepper they were near perfect... again, JMO from living through it.

You are not alone, Benny... I've had this discussion before with others... and maybe even you haha... I just like Rubber Soul a bit better than Revolver, but the main point I believe is that the Beatles hit their best during that two album span.

I personally believe that they just decided to say, 'We don't give a (frank) and we'll experiment all we want with our music here on out... If people don't like it, (frank) them'... That and the little helps from their friends -- drugs -- may have also had a major effect.... along with the changing Music Scene around the World.

... I happily agree about all getting different things... My wife likes the Beatles from Sgt. Pepper on, while I like them better before S.P.

Paul and John are each great in their own right with me... I enjoy each and I enjoy them both... That they both were together in the same Group at the same time is nothing short of fantastic.
