i never noticed it in the vid. but i'm used to it. that's the face he makes when he drums.

i had a buddy growing up who had this weird thing when he drummed where he stuck his tongue like 1/4 way out of his clenched lips and somehow licked them the whole time he drummed until his lips were all chapped.

kick, just realized I used to have Superunknown and heard it a lot while in college. Lots of great songs on it, good variety, a few ones I just can't dig.
