he's a really good guy.

used to come up here on his time away from/after Priest with a bunch of his friends' band from Akron OH. they would play alot of modern rock covers (Disturbed - the band was called "The Sickness"., Linkin Park, SOAD). the main singer in the group had long been in a Queensryche coverband. dude even kinda looked like Geoff Tate. had the chance to talk with Rip a few times. EXTREMELY personable.

German power metal band Primal Fear covering Judas Priest's "Metal Gods"



Their lead singer, Ralf, had sent in demo tapes, etc to Judas Priest after Halford left, but never received an invite to audition.

Where Ripper has a great low register and a great high register, Ralf has a great middle register and a great high register.

I guess sorta. Anyone who thinks the libertines were groundbreaking is being silly. But when they came out in early 2000's, they were awesome in comparison to most, just some good solid rock n roll. I like em. Not to mention Pete Doherty's aggressive drug habits were interesting if u dig that rock star stuff. Oh and he's a QPR fan so he's aces in my book.

i liked the old music better anyway.

the new music is too busy, not the same flow. too much going on at once. much harder to fall asleep to.
