This whole saga has been an up and down. I felt like there was no way these guys would be able to get out of this and they were all going to prison.
As the trial progressed, my read changed. I feel like the best starting point when getting to the truth between two sides of a story is to construct a narrative that includes all of the things that both sides agree on. I then put myself into that narrative and gauge whether the behavior of the parties lines up with how I would act, or even how I think the average person would react given the circumstances.
The more trial docs I read, the more the victims behavior, based on her testimony, did not make sense in that context. I have to agree with the judge. By the end of testimony I thought that if they get convicted it would be a miscarriage of justice.
I think there are more than just the victim's thumbs pressing the issue. While its not a good look for the NHL, there is no reason to stop any of these players from resuming their careers. |

It was clear from the beginning what this was. The main evidence was available to those willing to search for it.
I said from beginning it was remorse for her actions after the fact spurred on by mommy. All I needed was what the cell video showed to not condemn her. I never believed her story but was willing to wait until the video showed she was drunk to point she couldn’t consent and shocker of all shocker the videos showed she wasnt dead drunk.
So she was doing her thing which is fine. Do you. Simply case of mommy found out and didn’t want her daughter to be known as a whore.
So these poor guys go thru hell as result. Cool. And as a flyers fan lose goalie because team is woke wussys to afraid to stick up for thier player. |

He was not found innocent, simply "not guilty". There is a difference as the case was crappy and the burden of proof to convict was not met in the judge's eyes (I differ with this opinion). Courts don't declare innocence. If you heard the testimony, and you care about women in the slightest, you would be repulsed (if you are a decent human being). The NHL will likely impose a light penalty. I don't want any of those players near my locker room. Hart can eff off. |

I care about women? And believe women have the right to get as much Richard as they want. You want to bang 5 guys? Cool. It’s not my decision to deem what you as a woman deem repulsive. You sir are a walking idiot. So you care about women AS LONG AS IT OR THEY MEET YOUR STANDARDS OF WHATS REPULSIVE K. (frank) OFF dude. I’d take hart back in a second if situation deemed worthy. |

Yes it on Kate Smith what a dumb move. Hart will be the new Edmonton goalie within a week and you just know he will lead them to a Stanley Cup. I can just feel it Bob2 coming up |

Your reply is basically flawed in the same way as stayin alives reply. Neither of you is correct. He dismisses the responsibility of the players based on the willful decisions of the complainant. You dismiss her responsibility based on her gender and a repulsion to the players morals. You even appeal to whether "someone cares about women".
The lesson we should teach to our sons is to respect women.
The lesson we should teach to our daughters is that avoiding these situations is only way to avoid heartache.
In a perfect world it would be easy to punish offenders and no one would ever accuse someone for a reason other then the face issue. Reality is that punishing offenders is very difficult, and people are motivated by their own ends just as much as they are by justice.
Both the players and the women share blame for what happened. |

Hart is a free agent. Why would he choose the Flyers? Unless no or very very limited options.
Flyers, I mean Comcast, no interest. Will any of the beats even bring it up I wonder. |

Ummm no. I’m not “wrong”. What was the responsibility of the players exactly? What did they do “wrong” please explain. As I stated to the other fool it’s not up to you to deem or be the judge of right or wrong. They were just found NOT GUILTY upon the charges laid upon them in a country that the incident happened and the law of that land was written and agreed upon in that society.
What that means is if they are in Canada and did something and charged and declared not guilty by a court of THEIR law then they did no wrong. So no I’m not wrong. Simply as that. Please explain how you believe the players did wrong |

Wow imagine that. They could’ve got in car to go to store. Something couldve happened and ruined their lives. I mean imagine that. Doing something completely legal it’s almost like a human should just nothing. I mean just not even be born. Thanks for playing tho. The game of doing something completely legal and some jerk off claims you are putting your life of jeopardy of being ruined |

Speaking to an admitted sub-human, I fully understand why you feel that way
