I'd trade Robertson, (or McMann) + Danford + 2028 1st
(and Pitt has to take Kampf for salary purposes) for Bryan Rust - paulozz
Hard pass on trading any 1st. |

A bit too steep, needs tweaking
The rumored proposal—Max Domi, Nick Robertson, prospect Ben Danford, and a 2028 first-round pick—is a significant package - mr.sir
Ya no, pass on that overpayment. |

Speaking as a Flyers fan…..that’s a huge over pay for Tippet. - landros 2
sorry the standard reply to a trade like that is, why would the flyers do that?
Leafs fans think they can just toss a bunch of junk together and get any player.
huge pass

There are reports that Kaprizov has signed a 15 million per year contract. |

So sounds like the WJ guys are about to be found not criminally guilty. Judges ruling and findings are really coming out positive for them so far.
I assume the NHL and PA will have there own timeline/process but it does beg the question whether teams look at signing them for this year. |

It’s not obvious to me that they come back. Their conduct in the hotel room was never questioned. Judge didn’t believe the Crown’s argument that EM’s consent wasnt valid because she was too drunk or afraid.
Does the league invoke the morals clause saying their behaviour was detrimental to the interests of the league? |

They lost a year of their careers.
If the NHL wants to pull a "moral clause" move, it seems to me that time has already been served. |

That’s a tough one with the world jrs. It looks like everyone lost in this case with only the players and the victim knowing the actual truth. |

Devils in the details but I doubt it. PKane, Giroux, Stoll, Belfour, Varlamov, Tochhet, Corvo ...just to name a few NHLers that got slaps on the wrist for poor morals (and in some cases criminal convictions).
I think the NHL leaves it up to the teams to determine whether they want the potential headaches. Not sure if any of them are worth the risk ...maybe someone gives Hart an AHL contract and lets him get in shape while the noise passes. |

I do not believe they should have been found guilty.
I have no sympathy for them though. |

Same here. The NHL has enough dirtbag gm’s to give them another chance to play. |
