Back in 1999 when they went to the finals they didn’t have an amazing team but they had unbelievable goaltending and they played so well defensively.

Marchand’s been a good player since he came into the league full time in 2011. Some 1100 games ago. Playing with Bergeron certainly didn’t hurt.
