I think Marner walks and Knies signs for 8x8 with the Leafs.

The offer sheet question was in the context of the winning window being open right now and the impact of the offer sheer would have on that window.

Would the Leafs match or take the compensation?

if chicago picks are likely to be top 3 then sure otherwise the compensation is not worth it
