I heard from Bingo who is also banned:
Good deal for you guys. Canes taking all the risk (though they have more than enough pieces to be able to afford it). I think Miller CAN be worth it but he's got work to do to get there. - jimbro83
What did bingo do? I am trying to get these lifted but until the site is updated, I am SoL |

You should be, massive overpayment by CAR here. Drury was masterful on this one - Crushers68
Yeah but he’ll overpay if we are close to the playoffs for a a second or third rd then there goes the nice haul for miller |

I could be hallucinating (doubtful) but there were two posts in the last hour or two joking about the site and they are now deleted. |

Larry Brooks on Artemi Panarin:
1) Rangers cannot let Panarin’s fate linger.
2) They must extend him.
3) He played a key role in Gavrikov coming to NY and taking less money.
4) Between 10M-12M AAV on a 3-4 year deal seems like a sweet spot.
i want a bigger discount than that; i'd be furious if they sign him for $10m aav. make it like, 7.5 or 8. |

This is where the income tax debate comes back into play. Florida gets these guys to take discounts because their earning will reflect more salary elsewhere. But agree, he’s already earned his big bag, would be great if he took $8M or so. |

yeah agreed, I love Panarin and want him to retire a Ranger, but he has made enough money, think of the team bro. Let us afford guys that can last 4 rounds in the playoffs

$12m x 3 is insanity. $10m is too.
has to be under 9, or trade him at the deadline |

I don’t know the exact details. But I am hearing former #CBJ Trey Fix-Wolansky has agreed to terms with the New York Rangers. |

I would wait to see where the team is at the tdl. They could get a haul if he waives. Also would not pay him more than $7-$8m |

trade proposal for the guys still left here
considering Winnipeg is going to lose Ehlers for nothing....
would you guys do a sign and trade with Winnipeg
to the Rangers, Ehlers on a new 8 year contract, plus a 2026 1st rounder, 2027 2nd rounder
to the Jets, Lafreniere |

interesting proposal, my initial thought was no but that's good capital coming back.
woudlnt be too thrilled w/ an 8 year contract for a 29 year old though. |

it is yeah - jimbro83
One more reason having Zib around hurts the top 6.
For me, hes playing 3rd line center, kill penalties. His defense isxstii acceptable so thst seems to be the right spot.
I don care how much money he makes. |

it's kind of inspired by the K'Andre deal
I'm assuming that's what whoever gets Ehlers is going to do, give him a max length deal, if it's not a sign and trade he will sign somewhere on a 7 year deal
but it's pretty far fetched to think Rangers would be in on him |

once his wife said that they just built a new house, with his NMC, I've very much put any hopes Mika is leaving the team anytime soon, Sullivan flew to Europe to meet =meet with
just gotta hope he resurrects himself, it's really the only thing we can hope for

Can they do that? His contract is up, so think he’s as much a Jet as he is one of the other 31 teams.
Would love to have him though. |
