Mostly kidding, just get the feeling Drury isn’t done yet.

Don’t know much about Morrow to be honest, but he’s produced at every level, even during his short stint in the NHL. Rather him play in Hartford than be a 7th defenseman.

Traded Miller for Gavrikov on our top pair D

Traded Zac Jones for Scott Morrow

Signed Will Cuylle to a modest 2 year bridge

Picked up First and Second round picks in next years deep draft

Preserved a bit of cap space for possible future moves =

Per multiple combined sources' words, the official K'Andre Miller "sign & trade" deal's assets acquired by the Rangers from Carolina are these:

The Rangers will receive a conditional first and second-rounder, as well as Right D'man Scott Morrow in exchange for K'Andre Miller, who per E. Friedman agreed ahead to an 8 years $60M contract.

Additionally:
Per Puck Pedia: The Rangers will get the better of Carolina/Dallas first-rounder next year that is top-10 protected. The Canes had acquired the Stars' first-rounder in the Rantanen deal.

Also, any word rumored earlier elsewhere of an established non revealed Canes' roster player coming the Rangers way was inaccurate. That, with exception for a third-rounder also being considered in one earlier proposal. This was prior to the above package including on top of the protected 2026 first-rounder, also both the above 2nd rounder & Right d'man Scott Morrow.
