Soucy is going to probably be traded as well. Rumors of him being on the move when his ntc is at 12. Wouldn’t expect him here either

Idk man. If Miller is traded I could see Soucy Borgen pair happening. I think Soucy is still pretty good, and could be better under Sullivan. I think he’s the least of the problems. He’s a huge guy and we know how important that is but I realize no one wants to give him a chance anymore

I don’t like that Kreider was traded. He bled ranger blue. But I understand it from a business perspective. We clear 6.5M this year and next. We still have Panarin, Laf, Cuylle, Perreault, Berard, Othmann plus others for the top 9. More trades might come.

I think the “grade” on this trade comes down to what he has left in the tank. If last year is what he is moving forward, we got ahead of it. If last year he was injured too much and he contributes like he can when healthy, then we didn’t get enough.

I hope he signs a one day deal to retire a ranger and I wouldn’t be upset if 20 is retired to the rafters.
