The mistake was getting caught.

I don't think it's possible to be out of shape in the NHL without people noticing in 2025.

Dach obviously made a mistake, I think next season will be very telling if it's just a bump in the road or if he simply won't do what he must to reach his potential.

As for Newhook, I get what you're saying but I still like him. I'd switch him from the powerplay units to the penalty kill. His speed could be used as a potential threat and could be very useful in that aspect of the game. Kind of like how Paul Byron was.

Not sure a player frustrates me more than Newhook. Hopefully, he practices turning this off-season. His speed COULD be an asset if he wasn't an asshat.

Dach, well....you get out of anything as what you put into it. His attitude lends itself to another disappointing camp and he'll probably walk for at the end of next season. Can't see a 3rd team being bamboozled by the so-called "potential" anymore. That (frank)ing ship has sailed and sank twice ffs....

To think i almost bought a Dach jersey!! That was a close one....

I also bought a pile of new musician biography books. And Chris Cornell's "Total F*cking Godhead" was the first one on the list. Going to start that one this coming weekend.

I'd really like to build up a sports collection next. So many great ones out there. I've heard nothing but good things about Messier's book.

the cap going up doesn't mean that GMs need to dish out more money to everyone, there is still cap management to be had in order to continue implementing the planned salary structure.

They can't all be great, otherwise I'll get scouted by TSN to join Travis Yost and who wants that?
