Should be a great hockey between these two.
I hoped Jets will force game seven.
I think West wins it all this year and most likely it will be Dallas.

Same here.

EDM - TOR will be one helluva SCF though.

That would be fantastic, but not likely.
I know, I have to have a faith, but I don't see it is going to happen.
My prediction is Dallas vs Carolina in SCF.
Even Florida wins tomorrow they are tired and bunged group, Carolina should be able to take them down in less than 7 games.
The Leafs have more chances to beat Carolina than Panthers.

Dallas is so stacked, they are better then the Oilers easily, but McDavid is easily the best player in the league, and in the playoffs, that matters.

I dont feel confident of picking anyone over the Oilers.

They eliminated very good Vegas team in 5 games, which is not easy thing to do.
I am not sure who is going to win either.

I have not seen Mogilny playing for Toronto unfortunately, he left before I came to Canada. Too bad I missed all fun.

Even in 1993? What do you think was the best NHL period?
In 2004, once we come to Canada we went to ESL to learn language and one day we took the bus on our way home and were surprised why the bus is empty, it was full every day before. All streets seems to be empty too. Later I found it was the Leafs playoffs day.

Looking back on it is nice but at the time losing to the kings was one of the most disappointing things that I’ve ever experienced.

Now I can understand how heartbreaking and unfair it was.

Was my fave player since before he became a Leaf. If I don't include Mogilny, my fave Leaf ever was Sundin.

My favorite Leafs player of all time is Doug Gilmour.

Despite my natural hatred towards the Leafs, I could never truly hate that player and the way he played.

Was pretty psyched when he signed in Montreal later in his career, even if he had slowed down considerably.

I have a lot of Habs players I liked over the years. My fave was probably Lafleur, maybe Robinson?

Our defense is just fine. Imagine the hole left without Marner? Nylander and Knies only 2 top six wingers. No play maker on PP. PK takes a hit. Most importantly, if you even read whatever it was that person wrote, it was far from praising and protecting Marner. In fact it's more critical of him than anything else. Don't get me wrong, I wish we traded him for M.Tkachuk or Rantanen but he's far from useless and trash.

I like Marner a lot too, without him Leafs could miss playoffs this year.
The problem is his contract and how it will impact the rest of the team.
He is a great player with some limitations, mostly during playoffs, when no time and room available. The question is what he should cost to Leafs to keep some balance across all positions.

Caps going up so they could make it work. Not sure i want to give him the crazy amount he's going to ask.

Caps going up, but it is still not unlimited and money talks.
Leafs still will need money under the Cap, especially they have no draft pics for trades.
The money is the only asset they can have.
I have nothing personal against Marner, but his contract has to make sense to Leafs orgranization.
It is nothing personal, it is strictly business.

Forgot to add, I felt the same way about Gallagher. Would love to have a guy like that on our team.
