Wishful thinking! That would be a dream come true trade for the flames !!!🔥 - Hockeyfan4life14
I have a friend in Montreal, and he was disappointed that the Habs did not go after Huberdeau when he had a negative value. They love their Quebec boys. I agree its not going to happen but one can dream. |

Seth Jones found a new home. You never know!
Taking on the Carey Price contract might be a start. |

I live in Moncton and have watched the Wildcats play live a few times. Morin is good but I think he's still a couple of years away from the NHL. |

I agree, Habs would have done better with a motivated Frenchman. Now that he’s showed some life again, I don’t think it’s too far off. With the cap going up, teams will feel a little better taking on a 7.75 mil contract. |

I agree, there’s no point rushing him. Flames have lots of D prospects. |

So who thinks Basha might be a huge steal from the last draft? Best prospect at training cap with a bum ankle. Calgary kid.
I for one am very excited to see what he brings. |

His dad owns The Garrison in Mardaloop. Have a friend or two that knows him. The Bashas seem like good people.
We’ll see with Andrew. His quickness rocks and he finishes well, but I’m not sold. There are areas of his game that he needs to work on, but if he can’t stay healthy? He’s done for. His size bears risk of him topping out in the AHL.
Just my opinion, but I think that dude needs to be a machine if he’s gonna work out. We’ll see if he’s up for it. |

Rumor has Ottawa looking for a top 4 RHD-man. What do yall think Sens would give up for Anderson? |

Probably a draft pick, as the Sens won’t want to give up any young players where they are today. |

The names have changed but it’s the same old story in Cow-town. Prospects coming along nicely , just a minor tweak, trade and signing and they’ll be playoff bound next year. This all might be true but it’s been clear for the past 15 years that the owners are satisfied with a merely competitive team rather than rebuilding for a shot at superstar players and a Stanley Cup.
I know, I know, the Flames have too much class to tank, but at the end of the day, would you rather be proud of a team that never intentionally tanked or win a Stanley Cup? I guarantee that fans of the Avalanche and Penguins, could care less about that when they watched their teams lift trophies, nor would Oilers or Leafs fans if they one day witnessed it, and if you’re truly being honest with yourselves, neither would you. The Cup is everything. |

Can’t argue with you. They might hit lightening in a bottle twice/century if they are lucky. 2004 was a long time ago. |

Who do we want to win tonight?
Panthers get knocked out Flames get a higher draft pick. I also think whoever wins the west will steamroll the east of the Panthers are out. |

Intentionally tanking is like cheating on your golf score when playing alone !! Only losers do that, the flames messed up a team that had a shot to win when they chose Sutter over they star players but will and have been rebounding quite nicely without intentionally tanking and yes I would prefer hard work and drafting over losing to try win and last I checked the lost 20 years in coiler land hasn’t produced to many cups now has it |

Highlight the part where I said tanking has brought the Oilers a Cup.
Also, youre lying to yourself. the cup is the most important thing.
